Deciding which new phone to buy can be a tedious project, especially when you opt for an android phone. However, you’ve decided you want to buy an iPhone. Good choice, still Apple hasn’t made your day easier by releasing a bunch of new phones and variants of new phones. Want to know which iPhone to buy? Keep on reading!
For this comparison we’ll look at the most recent iPhones released, this will include the iPhone 8 as well. Because it is still an iPhone worth looking at. The remaining phones will be the iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max and finally the Xr.
Want the latest and greatest tech Apple managed to squeeze into their newest phones? Go for the iPhone Xs Max. Yes, the Xs Max is just as powerful as the normal Xs but the bigger screen and increased battery life makes for the best package. And being able to show off your bigger screen to your friends also has some benefits.
Say you want to upgrade to a new iPhone, but find the latest X models
just to expensive, you might want to look at the iPhone 8. Sure it might be less
powerful and doesn’t have the fancy screen but it I can guaranty you that it
will still easily suffice. Looking for an used or refurbished iPhone 8 is also
a great way to buy a new iPhone without spending over a thousand dollars.
The newly released iPhone Xr is the odd one of the family of new iPhones,
comparable to the iPhone 5c and SE. It has the same hardware as the Xs but is
priced lower. Now you would think that buying and Xs would be foolish then, but
this isn’t true. The iPhone Xr is by no means a bad phone but it lacks the
beautiful screen from the Xs and doesn’t support 3D Touch. A feature you’ll
miss once you don’t have it anymore. The iPhone Xr is for the ones that want a
cheaper iPhone Xs and like all the different colour options.
Which of all the iPhones gives you the most value for you hard-earned cash. The answer? It is the iPhone X. Yes, the standard iPhone X gives you the most value and I will explain to you why. The older generation iPhones are cheaper, but take into account that Apple will likely ditch support for the older generations of iPhones because it will focus more the new generations. You can still buy an iPhone 8 and it isn’t a bad move, but take into account that support for the iPhone 8 won’t last that long anymore.
The newest iPhones, the Xs, Xs Max and Xr are just simply just to expensive. They barely outperform the X. The X is dropping in price and can be purchased at a far more reasonable price than the newer X models. You won’t be comprising anything buying an X.
For me it is hard to
recommend any other phone than the X and the 8. Both are still very good
performing phones and won’t let down on speed and usability. Buy the iPhone 8
if you want the cheapest current iPhone that is still performing on par with
other flagship phones. If you want to go a step above and have a far superior
screen and a faster phone with better longevity go for the iPhone X. Pricing is
falling and falling because retailers want to have the newest iPhone in stock
and want to get rid off the older iPhone X. If I were to buy an iPhone today it
would be the iPhone X.
